Overview

Presidential Precinct Global Leadership Forum logo

The 2018 Global Leadership Forum brought 21 emerging leaders from more than 16 countries together to discuss and identify solutions for Advancing Women’s Economic Empowerment. Participants were all deeply committed to promoting women’s entrepreneurship, access to financial services, vocational training and career education, empowering and inclusive workplaces, and gender equality. The four day program moved between the Grounds of the University of Virginia and nearby Morven Farm.

The annual Global Leadership Forum is a premier, multi-regional gathering of young professionals. Each year brings a new program topic, spanning across a week of plenary sessions, small group discussions, breakout workshops, and site visits to community organizations. Since its launch in 2015, the Global Leadership Forum has convened emerging leaders from 63 countries in every region of the world.
